Health Tips for Losing Weight and staying healthy:

The foods you consume should have as few chemicals as possible.

It is wise to eat three meals a day.

Foods should be eaten in as close to their natural state as possible.  Cooking destroys most enzymes, half of the proteins and most vitamins and minerals.

Alfalfa Sprouts should be eaten.  They are full of nutrition and are loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, and protein.

Cold drinks lower the temperature in the stomach below what is needed for efficient digestion and should be avoided.

Portion control is the key to maintaining a good weight.

Foods to Avoid

White sugar, white flour, white rise, white-rice flour, degerminated corn meal, gluten flour, ice cream, soft drinks, cakes, cookies, jello, and candy.

Artificial sweeteners.

Preserved, process, or chemically fed meat, fish, or fowl.

Strong stimulants and irritants to the system, such as coffee, tobacco, alcohol, strong spices, and drugs of any kind.

Pasteurized or homogenized milk, and milk products such as strong cheeses, smoked cheeses, and yogurt that contains chemical or preservatives.

Hydrogenated oils and fats, solid cooking fats, animal oils and fats, refined margarines and oils, vegetable fats and shortenings.  Acid Reflux and Heartburn is a common cause of poor eating habits.

Waxed, preserved, canned, or pickled vegetables.

Iodized table salt.

Chocolate and cocoa.


Healing Vegetables

Berries  are extremely high in antioxidants, phytonutrients, glavonoids, and bioflavonoids.   They reduce the risk of chronic disease and have cancer-fighting compounds: vitamins C, E, B, K, minerals, and acids.  They also hold high levels of a soluble fiber known as pectin, a substance that studies link to lowered levels of cholesterol.  Berries have great cleansing properties and increase they amount of blood flow to the circulatory vessels.  Healthy berries include: blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, mulberries, goji berries, acai berries, bilberries, strawberries, and cherries.

Figs are one of  the best known natural laxatives.  They are high in potassium, calcium, and magnesium.

Grapefruit dissolves inorganic calcium in the body, especially calcium deposits in cartilage and joints that are caused by arthritis.  Rich in salicylic acid, potassium, fruit acids, natural sugar, and other alkaline ingredients.
